THE BEST BOOK YOU'LL READ ALL YEAR!
CONGRATULATIONS, YOU’VE JUST FOUND THE BEST BOOK YOU’LL READ ALL YEAR. I don't tend to leave reviews often, and when I do it's only for books I truly, wholly, absolutely love. SAVIOURS DAY is one such book. Take a pinch of Stranger Things, add a dollop of Attack the Block, and sprinkle liberally with the good bits from the Bible that aren't about washing feet or leprosy, and you'll be left with something that isn't a patch on SAVIOURS DAY. Featuring time travel, warrior angels, the end of the world, and three 'bruvs' you can't help but fall in love with, this is a cleverly constructed character piece disguised as an epic Apocalyptic adventure that will chew you up, spit you out, and leave you gasping for more. A thrilling story, brilliantly written. What more can you ask for?

HEART-STOPPING AND ACTION-PACKED!
LOOKING FOR A READ THAT'S SPELLBINDING, HEART-STOPPING, ACTION-PACKED, FUNNY, POIGNANT AND, PERHAPS BEST OF ALL, UNIQUE? Look no further. The memorable story of three teenage friends tasked with the job of keeping a baby (and not just any baby) safe from the encroaching Darkness that threatens all of mankind. Very much of the opinion that just because I did/didn't enjoy a book it doesn't mean to say that you will, I tend not to recommend books; merely to chronicle and share my thoughts on them BUT... One of my favourites of 2018; in fact, I'd even go as far as to say it's in my top three. SAVIOURS DAY is a super story, the characters of which absolutely stole my heart.

A fine book regardless, but as a first novel it is simply stupendous. A YA tour de force with a finale most authors can only dream of.
